Included in the registration fee
The fee for the conference includes admission to all presentations, digital conference programme, welcome reception, lunches, teas and coffees. The conference fee does not include travel and accommodation.
Bonus

Big Exoplanets 5 Solar-Solstice Party™
In addition to the conference you may register yourself and a accompanying person for the Big Exoplanets 5 Solar-Solstice Party™ in the Botanic Gardens on Thursday night!
All participants can sign up for an evening of delectable cuisine and the enchanting ambiance of the summer solstice. It promises to be a memorable night filled with good food, great company, and perhaps a few surprises inspired by the spirit of this celestial event.

Fee: € 25 per person
The Hortus botanicus Leiden is the oldest botanic garden not just in the Netherlands but of the whole in Western Europe. It was created in 1590 and expanded in subsequent centuries to become the green heart of the city of Leiden. Here, Carolus Clusius cultivated Europe’s first extensive tulip collections, and Philipp Franz von Siebold introduced some 700 then unknown plant species from Japan and China. Visitors can come to the garden to relax and be inspired, and researchers and botanists from all over the world spend time here to study our renowned collection. Great company.
Press
When you wish to report on the conference, you can submit a press registration request. You will be notified as soon as possible whether your request has been approved. Only approved press will be granted access to the conference.
Individual registration
When registering online for Exoplanets 5, you can pay directly online with iDeal or credit card. The invoice will be sent by e-mail within one week after registration.
Group registration
When you participate with at least 5 persons from the same affiliation, you can use the group registration form to register as a group and receive one invoice in the name of your affiliation.
Letter of invitation
If you need a letter of invitation to apply for your visa, please send your request by email. Invitation letters can only be sent to participants who registered and have paid the required registration fees.
Changes in your registration
If you wish to change your registration, please send us a detailed email.
If change concerns adjusting the invoice, administration costs of €50 will be charged in addition to the participation fee.
Substitute
If you are unable to attend, a substitute, if not already registered for the conference, is welcome. Please send an email with your substitute in CC with the following information about your substitute: full name, function, name of the affiliation, email address and telephone number.
There are no charges for the adjustment of the transfer of your registration to someone else. The payment obligation is transferred to your substitute. If you have already paid for your registration, we kindly request you to settle this with your substitute.
Cancellation
Cancellation of your registration can only be done by email.
The following will be charged in case of cancellation:
Until 1 March 2024: Bank and credit card charges and € 50 administrative fee.
Until 30 May 2024: 50% of total registration plus bank and credit card charges.
From 1 June 2024: No refund.
In the event of a no-show, the payment obligation remains. In the event of payment on account, the claim will remain unchanged in the event of cancellation.
