A Sustainable Energy Day, in the framework of the EU Sustainable Energy Week under the theme “Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System”.
Objective:
Under the European Green Deal, the objective of being climate neutral in 2050 in our regions is a must, taking this opportunity as a powerful economic driver. Accordingly, Four Motors for Europe is fully engaged in the achievement of this objective. Each of our regions has integrated the objective of energy transition into their individual energy roadmaps. These roadmaps have been designed in accordance with the conditions (geostrategic, social and economic) particular to each region. The regions of the Four Motors for Europe (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Baden-Württemberg, Catalonia and Lombardy) have a long tradition of mutual co-operation and this spirit of co-operation will encompass private companies.
The goal of the webinar is peer review roadmaps for energy transition as well as involving private companies in facilitating possible energy transition-focused cooperation projects. To achieve this goal, apart from presentations from the Regional Energy Agencies and private companies, interested agents from the regions of our network are encouraged to participate in a brokerage event organized in the framework of the 8th edition of the Smart City Brokerage Event on 16th – 18th November. Energy and Environment is one of the main topics of this event. More information is available at the Smart City 2021 Brokerage Event website.
