The 2nd International Fish Microbiota workshop will be held in Eugene, Oregon, September 3rd-5th, 2019

Building on the success of the first workshop held in Trondheim, Norway, this meeting will bring together scientists from around the world who are interested in the interactions between fish and their associated microbes. This meeting will feature talks on basic science and those driven by applications in aquaculture and marine fisheries, and focus on unpublished research and networking opportunities.

Key topics include:

1) Microbiome effects on fish development 2) The ecology of the fish microbiome 3) Impacts of the microbiome on aquaculture 4) New techniques for raising germ free fish 5) Evolution in fish-microbiome systems 6) Developing fish as model systems for microbiome research 7) The microbiome and wild fisheries
