What is School like for you?
Hello. We at Bristol Educational Psychology Service would like your help to find out what it has been like for you during lockdowns, going back to or starting a new school. We would also like to hear from you if you have not started back at school or if you haven't attended school for some time (not just because of COVID-19)
There have been a lot of changes because of COVID-19 and we would like to know what has happened for you. We are also interested in hearing your ideas about how school could be changed or improved, what could be done differently? What would help you feel confident about attending school. This might include things that you miss because things have had to change in school due to COVID-19.
We have a few questions we would like you to answer. Your answers will be anonymous, which means we don't know your name and your name can't be shared with anyone. You can ask a teacher or parent/carer to help you complete the form.
We will use your answers to help understand what life is like for you and to help us think about ways to improve school. This might mean we write reports which share your views so other people can know what life is like for you and what things we could do to make changes to school life.
Please can you submit the form by Friday 9th April 2021.
We would also like the opportunity to talk to you in real life and find out more about what is happening and get your ideas about what could be done differently. If you are interested in talking to us please tell your parents, carers or teachers and they can get in touch with us to arrange a meeting, if you are over 16 you can contact us directly - this might be in a group with other young people so we can share thoughts and ideas.
If there are things that really worry you please talk to your parents, carers or teachers. There are also a range of places you can go for help - such as Childline [0800 1111].
We really look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you
