BAVS: COVE for Teaching
BAVS members now have access to COVE Studio and COVE editions. However, in order to teach with COVE, students will need to be provided with logins. These vary depending on what you would like to do with the tools

COVE Studio is where you read or annotate unpublished but “vetted” and pre-formatted primary material. You can also upload your own texts for annotation. It provides a safe, password protected space where you and your students can annotate texts for class. At Studio, you can also create an edition for publication (perhaps with other editors). This feature is free for BAVS members and their students.

COVE Editions is where we publish scholarly editions and where we make published scholarship available for re-use through 1) a classroom space; 2) a timeline-builder; 3) a map-builder; and 4) a gallery-builder. Here, you and your students can assemble existing scholarship into customizable timelines, maps, and galleries, then add content of your own—for example, as a class project or as research for final papers. This feature requires a contribution of $10 per student.

Please provide your details below and we will be in touch about how to access COVE to suit your requirements.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with BAVS's COVE Representative, Jo Taylor (joanna.taylor@manchester.ac.uk) or COVE's General Editor, Dino Felluga (felluga@purdue.edu).
