CaNDER Seminar Series- 14th March 2024

Cambridge Network for Disability and Education Research (CaNDER) is a research network committed to generating rigorous scholarship in the field of disability and education. It has its genesis in the shared interests and common goals of researchers at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. The CaNDER seminar series 2024 will be held both in person (at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge) and virtually via zoom.

Session Topic: Pathways to inclusion: learnings from educational interventions focused on girls with disabilities.

Session Description: Based on insights gathered through primary and secondary data sources for 41 projects across 17 countries under the Girls' Education Challenge Phase II (GEC II), we will reflect on the following question: What are the essential foundations for success in the education of girls with disabilities and the transformative potential of education. Join us in this conversation as we discuss actionable strategies, share best practices, and reflect on some of the dilemmas in the education of girls with disabilities. 

This research was commissioned through the REAL Centre at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge in partnership with TetraTech Inc and funded by the FCDO. Publications can be found on the Girls’ Education Challenge evaluation page of the REAL Centre website.
