NGS-SOI Informational Webinar, March 2023

The National Geographic Society and Schmidt Ocean Institute recently announced a partnership to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in ocean exploration. As part of this partnership, individuals carrying out projects in ocean research, technology, and exploration will have the opportunity to apply become a National Geographic Explorer and lead a National Geographic Grant project aboard Schmidt Ocean Institute’s state of the art research vessel, the R/V Falkor (too). This opportunity is for individuals who are NOT already National Geographic Explorers.
