A former Rakiraki Magistrates Court Revenue Collector will be sentenced in October.

This is after admitting to committing corruption in the Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday.

Saleshni Lata was charged with a count each of Obtaining a Gain and Falsification of Documents by the Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption.

Lata pleaded guilty to falsifying the Judicial Department Trust Fund Receipts and Maintenance Payment card to gain $100.

Time was given to both parties to file their mitigation and sentencing submissions respectively.

The matter has been adjourned to 4th October for sentencing.
