Inspired by 90s femme grunge bands like No Doubt and L7, MELÓ’s unique vocals, coupled with her bittersweet contrast between light-hearted indie-alternative instrumentals and darker lyrical content bring a modern twist to the female empowered musicians of the ‘90s. 

MELÓ uses vulnerability in her lyrics to de-stigmatize and discuss issues of mental health and manipulation, to ultimately create a space of understanding and acceptance. Taking a male-dominated genre, and shifting the narrative both musically and lyrically to align with these beliefs. With her debut EP ‘Youthless,’ out she is excited to finally share her current and future releases live with you.
