Russian army poses no threat, moves around Russian territory 'in direction it sees fit' - Peskov

MOSCOW. April 5 (Interfax) - The Russian army does not pose a threat to any country in the world and moves around Russian territory in the directions needed by the Russian military, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Journalists told Peskov on Monday that there had been reports about Russian troops "moving in the Rostov region with covered license plates" and asked "why the Russian army is so shy when moving around Russian territory and whether [the military] might get lost, as it did in 2014."

"No one was lost, and no one is lost now. The Russian army is moving around Russian territory in the directions it sees fit and the way it deems necessary for the provision of solid security to our country. This should absolutely not concern anyone. Russia does not constitute a threat to any country in the world," Peskov said.
