My Monmouthshire
My Monmouthshire is a great way to quickly and easily contact Monmouthshire County Council. This app enables people to report an incident e.g. by taking a quick photo or recording a video from their phone. For example, reporting a pot hole, street lighting or dog fouling, by capturing the details and automatically submitting them. This app also provides latest news updates from the council and local service information such as waste collection days, job vacancies, bus timetables or school information.

Hard to understand logic
I find app frustrating.
Example to find my bin day, why does it ask me to login when I am already logged in?
Paying for green waste bin collection
What an absolutely rubbish and disjointed app!
Despite being logged in the app asks you to login multiple times. When you go to make the payment it requires you to put your address in again even though you already have it. It doesn’t recognise my pre registered card and I had to cancel the card and re-register the same card! When you try and tick the box for terms and conditions, it takes you to the terms and conditions and you can’t go back meaning you have to start all over again registering your card. By the time you sort that out your basket is empty and you have to go through all that rubbish again.
Great App by Monmouthshire County Council!
This is a great App by MCC! It’s an easy way to report:- potholes, broken streetlights, flooding issues, broken street furniture, overgrown verges & hedges, uneven pavements and much, much more with information on just about every service MCC offer! If you have a concern about anything, you can report it by using this App and help by being part of the solution!
