College Operations (College of Medicine & Health)
This part time (0.3FTE) post is available from 1 June 2021 on a fixed term basis until 31 May 2022.
Summary of the role
We are seeking an experienced administrator to provide high-level professional support to the Professor of Health Services & Policy Research, the management of diaries being a daily and important task. You will also be the first point of contact for internal and external contacts, take minutes at key meetings as required, and take a lead role in liaison with the University facilities teams. You will generally be providing support by preparing and circulating papers and agendas for meetings, drafting, and typing documents, processing invoices, expense claims and requests for payment, using content management systems to maintain and update websites and internal databases, using social media on a regular basis, making travel arrangements, supporting the day-to-day management of finance.
You will need to be adept at working simultaneously on a number of tasks and have excellent organisational and communication skills. A high level of interpersonal skills and in-depth experience in the use of IT applications are essential for this role. Previous experience of providing administrative support to senior staff is essential. This post will be based at the St Luke’s Campus of the University.
