This full time post is available immediately on an open ended (time limited funding) contract until 28th February 2026 and will be based in London.
Summary of the role
The University of Exeter Business School wishes to appoint a quantitative social scientist to the post of Postdoctoral Research Fellow. This is a full-time, five-year appointment working as part of an EPSRC Next Stage Digital Economy Research Centre called DIGIT Lab. The Centre focuses on how digital technologies can transform the business models of Large Established Organisations (LEOs). Specifically, the postholder will concentrate on a work package that focuses on the implications of digital transformation on responsible leadership and management practices, including job design and organisational strategy. They should also have substantive interests related to the research themes of DIGIT Lab. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to all research areas, including data collection, quantitative analysis, reviewing literature and co-authoring papers for highly ranked journals. They will also be expected to engage in impact and dissemination activities actively. The post will be based in London.

About you
The successful candidate should have a PhD in social sciences with a strong quantitative background. They should also have experience of the application of digital technologies which goes beyond description to an understanding of the impact of the technology
