Applications are invited from outstanding scholars to contribute to the delivery of education, research, and impact in line with departmental strategy. Up to four Lecturers will be appointed in the Education and Research job family. Specific requirements can be read in the Job Description and Person Specification
documents.
About you
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic educators and excellent researchers, who possess a competitive record for their career level. Successful candidates will possess a PHD, or be nearing completion, and able to teach and supervise undergraduate and masters research projects in core areas of Psychology-such as clinical psychology, cognitive psychology, neuroscience, developmental, health, organisational, personality, and social psychology. We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time or in job-sharing arrangements.

Our academics have expertise across a range of areas in clinical psychology, developmental psychology, cognition, neuroscience, social psychology, organizational psychology, the psychology of addictions, and animal behaviour.
Where appropriate, successful applicants would have the opportunity to work on our Professional Doctorates in Educational and Clinical Psychology, the latter sitting within the Clinical Education Development and Research group (CEDAR), the only training provider in the southwest for the adult (since 2008) and children and young people (since 2013) IAPT National Service Transformation programs. Additionally, they may contribute to our NHS-commissioned research clinics for adult or adolescent mental health (AccEPT clinic; Children and Young People clinic). CEDAR offers a wide range of programs at all levels and leads on a Trailblazer Degree Apprenticeship Programme.
