About this event

Poetry Lunch & Do Session: International Women's Day

Facilitator: Dr Julia Ouzia, Lecturer in Psychology (Education)

Details: Tuesday 15th March 12-13.30 at Guy's New Hunts House G.4 and online

Have you got a vision for a more equal world? Would you like to unleash your creative side? This International Women's Day we are looking to collect your ideas of how things would be different in a more equal world.

The workshop will start with a brief discussion of the role of poetry within the context of social justice efforts. Your facilitator will then introduce an exercise designed to help you get going with writing your own poetry, using your and your colleagues' ideas of a more equal world. The workshop will end with poetry readings and discussions.

Add your ideas to the Padlet in advance. You can add your name or post anonymously - whichever you prefer.

This event is open to everyone. Feel free to come for the whole time or drop in and out.

This event will be hosted in person at Guy's New Hunts House G.4 and online.
