Welcome to the Queer Heritage and Collections Network Symposium 2022.

Following the success of our first QHCN Symposium, which took place online in 2021, we held our first hybrid Symposium in 2022 hosted by the Research Centre for Museums and Galleries, University of Leicester, with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The two-day symposium explored the innovative and meaningful queer programming being developed by museums and heritage organisations across the UK. The event was open to museum/heritage sector professionals and academics at all career levels.

‘This is such a valuable network and gives us access to expert advice and experience hard to find elsewhere.’
