Leeds Digital Festival runs on an open-platform system. What does that mean, though? Put simply: the Festival provides a platform for people involved in tech and digital to host a bunch of exceptional events.
And though we don’t directly host any events ourselves, we help our LDF hosts to build out their event content, find awesome speakers, and promote their event to our audience. This means that everyone is welcome to get stuck in – from kitchen-table-startups to Government organisations, and some of the UK’s biggest tech firms.
We’re looking for fun, relevant and innovative events to help showcase the city’s dynamic digital sector. Thanks to the wonderfully diverse tech companies that call Leeds home, each year the LDF programme is as broad as it is brilliant, and our 7th year will be no exception.
With last year’s Autumn edition featuring our biggest arts and cultural offering since the Festival began, and welcoming the likes of DCMS and the G7 to the LDF stage for the first time, we’re looking for exciting and forward-thinking events that will help to make 2022 our best year yet. So whether you’re into Fintech, AI, Data or Cyber Security, we’re looking for the best of the best.
Check out the Event Organiser’s Guide below to find out how you can get stuck into the Festival this September. Covering everything from the submission process, to how we review and approve events, it’s packed with tips and tricks to ensure that your event makes it into the September programme.
