At least 10 people killed after severe flash floods hit Iran
Severe flash floods claimed at least 10 lives in parts of Iran since the start of May. The worst affected provinces are Yazd, Kerman, and South Khorasan.
According to the IRC, their teams located the bodies of 10 people, recovered 37 vehicles from flooded roads and pumped water from 146 houses.
Severe infrastructural damage was reported in Kerman Province and 6 fatalities — all of them were employees of an electricity company sent to repair downed power lines in Golbaf.

Three fatalities were reported in Yazd Province's Ardakan County and 1 in South Khorasan Province, according to the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN).
One person is still missing.
IRINN added dozens of homes were damaged in Damghan, Semnan Province.
Homes and crops were damaged and livestock lost in Gonabad, Khorasan Razavi province.
