Man Rescued From Mud On NCR Trail: Officials

A special operations rescue was completed in Baltimore County Thursday morning, officials said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Special operations crews were in the Ashland area Thursday morning handling a mudslide, according to officials.

The mudslide was in the area of the NCR Trail, where the Baltimore County Firefighters Association reported before 10 a.m. that a special operations rescue was underway.

A man had been stuck under a bridge up to his waist in mud, authorities said.

By 10:30 a.m., the Baltimore County Fire Department said the man had been freed. He declined a trip to the hospital, officials reported.
