As you may know, ASSW2020 has moved fully online: meetings, lectures, presentations, networking coffee-breaks, and even Tuvan throat singing will all happen online via Zoom. We know the idea of setting all this up online is a little bit crazy, especially with such short notice -- and we need your help!
So, here is the deal:
We ask you to attend one (or a couple) meeting(s)
You will make sure attendees are muted/unmuted, they have their video turned on/off, moderate questions/discussion in coordination with the Chair of the meeting, etc. – pretty simple!
In return, you will be able to attend all the scheduled ASW2020 meetings as you would have done, and we will waive your registration fee!
You can volunteer from home, wherever you are, as long as you have a stable Internet connection. We will train you (online Zoom meeting held by IT personnel from the University of Akureyri) and give you a written playbook with all the key information.
Online training will be provided on 24 March at 8:00 and 15:00 GMT. More information will be provided to those who sign up.
