Session 1:  Maritime Energy Transition – Risks and opportunities for the world’s fleet

  The scale of the impact of maritime’s energy transition on the existing world fleet is becoming increasingly apparent. Inevitably, the future holds some difficult decisions for ship owners with respect to how they maintain fleet compliance as carbon intensity regulations and a price on carbon becomes enforceable. In this discussion, we will look at the options on the path ahead, and what steps ship owners are taking now to build resilience and optionality into their fleets.
