Find out what having a mentor could do for you, how to find one and the benefits of mentoring others. This informal event will include lunch and an opportunity to seek advice on any issue of your career or working life.
In 2019, all CLS departments received mentee and mentor training, resulting in a doubling of our pool of mentors. Feedback from staff was that all staff groups were interested in the benefits of having a mentor, and that some people would like help with finding one.
'Mentor Connect' is the new name for the established College of Life Sciences mentoring scheme, recently extended to include mentor-mentee matching, and mentors for all staff groups.
This event is open to all CLS staff, including professional services, research, and academic staff, at any career stage.
Lunch will be provided
