    • Poster presentations guidelines

    • Given the large number of submissions, your poster will be on display one out of the two days of the conference, please check your presentation day and poster number in the enclosed list
    • Poster format: A0 PORTRAIT (i.e., vertical)
    • Posters should be put in place at the beginning of the allocated day and removed after the last session of this day. Please use the poster support number corresponding to your abstract
    • Each day, all conference attendants will be given the opportunity to join one out of 4 guided poster sessions (23/11 from 13:15 to 14:15; 24/11 from 12:30 to 13:30) under the guidance of one of the organizers. We ask you to be present at your poster at least for this period
    • Each guided poster sessions lasts about one hour, in total, for approximately 10 posters per group. The poster session chair will guide the attendees through the poster exhibition.
    • The poster presenting author will be asked to give a (maximum) 2-minute summary of the major findings described on the poster, and then the chair will encourage participants to ask questions and discuss the poster for a few minutes.

    Oral presentations guidelines

    • Your time slot duration is 15 minutes including questions, we thus recommend aiming for a 10-min (max 12-min) talk to allow interactions with the audience.
    • Please keep in mind that you are speaking for a general cognitive neuroscience audience; not everybody is an expert in your own field, and it is a great opportunity to make them understand your research !
    • Ideally, it is better sending us in advance (by Wednesday 22/11 at neurocog2023@gmail.com) your presentation to avoid technical problems when plugging computers. However, please note that PowerPoint presentations do not always transfer well from Mac to PC and vice versa (some fonts can change; possibly but not always affecting your slide formatting) – thus PDF presentation format can be a good and safe option.
    • Related to 3. If for any reason you chose to present using your own laptop, please be aware that the time spent connecting it will be included in your 15-min slot, as we are committed to keep a strict schedule !

    Abstract submission guidelines

    • All abstracts should be submitted electronically through the abstract submission system
    • The deadline for submission is 31 October 2023, 24:00 CET
    • By submitting the abstract, you agree and confirm that if the abstract is accepted, you will attend the NeuroCog2023 conference
    • To confirm your attendance, you have to register for the conference by 31 October July 2023 on the Registration page.
    • If you have not registered by the abstract submission deadline, your abstract will not be considered.
    • Abstracts must be submitted and, if accepted, presented in English.
    • Abstracts have a limit of 250 words. The title, keywords and authors’ information are not included in that limit.
    • Graphics or tables can be added as a single page supplementary file in PDF format
    • You will be notified of the acceptance of your abstract(s) and its format (oral or poster) by 10 November 2023
