Systematic reviews: transferring your search between databases Online

This session is ideal for later year undergraduate students and research students who are carrying out systematic reviews, in all Faculties, but especially relevant for those in the Faculty of Medical Sciences. After finessing your search strategy, the next stumbling block can often be replicating that search across a range of databases. The medical liaison team will tell you what you need to know to transfer your Systematic Review search strategy between the main academic databases, highlighting the difference between controlled vocabulary searching and keyword searching. We will share our hints and tips to help you learn the difference and use both keyword and subject headings when creating your search strategy.
