Questionnaire to inform the implementation plan
Introduction
In 2022, United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) adopted a revised Policy Paper, The Role of Local and Regional Governments in Development Cooperation— A New Call to Action towards 2030 and Beyond.
This new Policy includes 5 key objectives and 30 actions aimed at strengthening decentralized cooperation to help achieve the SDGs by the year 2030. The full text of the Policy Paper can be found here (EN version) (FR version & ES version)
To guide the implementation of the Policy, a three-year implementation plan for the period 2023-2026 is being developed by the UCLG’s World Secretariat and the Capacity and Institution Building (CIB) Working Group.
This is a collective effort, and your inputs to inform the plan are essential. This questionnaire will help identify the priority actions UCLG and the CIB should focus on, as well as the required tools and the advocacy opportunities.
