Christmas FAQs

When do I have to pay?

Live events – Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Christmas events – A £10 per person deposit (£25 for New Year’s Eve) is required at the time of booking. The final balance is due 4 weeks prior to the event.

Can I provisionally hold tickets?

Tickets for live events cannot be provisionally held, full payment is required to confirm the booking.

Tickets for Christmas events can be provisionally held for 7 days for bookings of 20+ people.

Do I need to submit a pre-order?

Once you confirm your booking you will receive an electronic pre-order form to submit your food order.

Do you cater to dietary requirements?

Yes. You can make a note of any dietary requirements and/or allergies on the pre-order form. We always recommend you call to discuss specific dietaries/allergies to ensure we provide the right menu for you.

Can I add people to my booking?

As long as we have the availability you can keep adding guests to your booking by calling the events team on 0114 232 0266.

How many people are on a table?

Our tables seat up to 10 people. We also have a few tables that seat 12 people however these are limited. Bookings of 6 people or less will be on a shared table. Bookings of 12+ will be on multiple tables located next to each other.

Does the OEC bar accept cash and card?

Yes, the OEC accepts both.

Is there car parking and can I leave my car overnight?

Yes, we have over 400 free car parking spaces onsite and cars can be left overnight however vehicles are left at the owner’s risk.
