The Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG /UNDESA) and the Federal Court of Accounts – Brazil (TCU) are jointly organizing a meeting on “ClimateScanner Global Call: Engaging Supreme Audit Institutions in assessing national climate action” from 25 to 26 March 2024 in New York. 

DPIDG/UN DESA and TCU are collaborating on the ClimateScanner global initiative, which aims to support Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) to conduct independent assessments of national responses to climate change. The meeting will provide an opportunity to share information on the ClimateScanner initiative and discuss the way forward for the roll-out of the assessment framework, receiving inputs from SAI leadership and stakeholders. The meeting will also aim to facilitate an informed dialogue among SAIs and stakeholders on common challenges and opportunities related to climate change and the engagement of SAIs in assessing national climate action. 

Attendance to the meeting is by invitation only.
