Media accreditation for an international Gymnastics event

This website, gymnastics.sport (the “Site”), and all personal information collected from users of this Site are owned solely by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG).
In this Privacy Notice references to "we", "us", "our", are references to Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG).

2. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to help provide you with the best experience we can. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile phone when you browse websites.

3. Data security
We host our servers in a secure data center and use the latest security practices to protect our customer's data. We use various functions to secure your data against unauthorized viewing, manipulation and deletion.
4. Creating an account
In creating a user account on media.gymnastics.sport, you accept that your data will be transmitted to and saved on secured servers of the International Gymnastics Federation located in Switzerland.
It is essential to have an email address in order to log in to and manage your private account (your email address is your credential to log in).
Part of this information – including your email address, your profile photo and your press card – will be transmitted to the organiser of the event for which your accreditation has been accepted.
You have access to your data at all times in order to amend it.
5. Information on the lifespan of accreditation requests
For an active account, a record of these requests and their status (on hold, accepted, refused, late) is kept for 17 years (4 Olympic cycles + 1 year).
For staff working on site for a television company, their records are kept for 5 years (1 Olympic cycle + 1 year).
After this period, the records will be archived locally (offline) in the FIG Headquarters on a secured server.
6. Rights to your data
If you have interacted with this site, you may ask for a file containing all of your personal data that we have in our possession, including data that you have provided to us.
7. Deleting your account
You can request the deletion of your account at any time. Your data will be kept for a period of one year before it is deleted permanently. This does not include data stored for administrative, security or legal reasons
8. Sending of emails related to events
By submitting your registration, you automatically agree to be contacted by the FIG and the organising committees in the context of the events that you register for.
