Italian energy group Enel is scouring Brazil for small- to medium-sized companies that are willing to buy renewable power, as it shifts away from low-price regulated market contracts for about 2GW of new capacity that it plans to build through 2021.

“We are trying to target a smaller type of client through a modular portfolio approach, a one-on-one approach,” Antonio Scala, head of South America at Enel Green Power tells Recharge.
