Schools Asymptomatic Testing Programme

Survey for Secondary School Pupils

Hello! The Scottish Government would like your help to improve the schools asymptomatic COVID-19 testing programme.

Please have a look at this very short video from Professor Jason Leitch, the Government's National Clinical Director. (Please return to the survey window after watching the video.)

Some people may have COVID-19 but not have any symptoms. The testing programme aims to help secondary school pupils and staff to find out if they have the virus, so that they and their close contacts can self-isolate.

We want to make it as easy as possible for secondary school pupils across Scotland to test yourselves twice a week, and to record your test results. If both secondary school pupils and staff take part in the testing programme, we hope that COVID-19 outbreaks in schools will be less likely to happen.

We would like to ask you a few questions about your experience of the testing programme. The survey should take about 5-10 minutes.

Your participation in this survey is voluntary. This means that you may choose not to take part. If you do decide to take part, you may change your mind at any time. All responses are anonymous. This means that your identity will remain confidential, and we will not identify you in any reports. We will only use the information you provide to help improve the testing programme and the support we give to those involved.

If you have any questions or problems with the survey, or you would like to withdraw your responses at any point, please contact Clare Magill – clare.magill@gov.scot. The survey will be open until 9pm on Sunday 23rd May.

NOTE: If you wish to move back within the survey, please use the back button on the survey itself. Using the back button on your browser may result in your responses being lost.

Thank you for your help.
