Co-Funder Overview

What to expect as a Co-Funder with Sancus Sancus offers Co-Funders a range of asset backed funding opportunities in which they may participate with other Co-Funders in a syndicated loan. These opportunities come in a range of term lengths, risk-return profiles and are all credit approved by Sancus’ experienced credit team. Our asset backed lending service operates across multiple jurisdictions; UK, Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar and Isle of Man. All loans are secured with tangible assets, property being our preferred security. We also insist on personal guarantees from the borrower where appropriate.

All loans have to be unanimously approved by the Sancus credit committee, which operates across all jurisdictions. Sancus participates in each loan alongside the Co-Funders to ensure both interests are aligned. Co-Funders include Private Clients, High Net Worth Individuals, Family Offices, Trusts and Institutions. Sancus also has a cred it facility with Honeycomb Investment Trust. The minimum allocation from a CoFunder is ÂŁ100,000 and a Co-Funder can typically expect returns in excess of 6% pa.

Reviewing an Initial Credit Assessment proposal of the loan is submitted to the Group’s Credit Committee Approving – following approval from the credit committee an Offer Letter is sent to the Borrower outlining the terms we are willing to lend upon

Syndicating – offering the loan to Co-Funders – Sancus participates in every loan, our interests are aligned with our Co-Funders Administrating of the legal and due diligence process, Sancus is the security and facility agent for the loan Monitoring – ensuring the loan is performing, if a borrower defaults Sancus will handle the default proceedings and keep all Co-Funders in the loan informed of the recovery process

What to expect as a Co-Funder Sancus Co-Funders are on-boarded, which includes all Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) checks. Once the Co-Funder is signed off, they have access to the Sancus Platform, through which new funding opportunities are issued, in the form of Term Sheets. (see example below). If the Co-Funder is interested in funding an opportunity they may request further details, through the platform or from their relationship manager. The Co-Funder then requests an allocation to the loan through the platform or their relationship manager. Co-Funders may use the Platform to access data, legal and supporting documentation and gross loan statistics. Platform access is secured with double encrypted security.
