I am a GP in East London and a keen printer, painter, maker and sketcher. This website is a portfolio as well as a kind of archive; old work, experiments, commissions and past projects. Here's a bit more information on some of what you'll find.
PRINTmaking
I started focusing on printmaking in 2017 when my first daughter was born. I embarked on an alphabet series of lino prints related to pregnancy, birth and new-motherhood (still in progress!). Since then my linocut illustrations have been published in a number of books (The Wild Isles, A Short History of the World According to Sheep, The Little Book of Planting Trees and The Book of the Earthworm) and I have started exploring the reduction method of relief printing in a few multi-layer landscape prints.
I have a small range of prints for sale at www.sarahpriceprints.bigcartel.com.

Indian Inkings
In 2015 my husband and I moved to India for a year, while I worked in the palliative care department of a cancer centre. I tried to keep a visual diary of my time there; including our travels, my work in the hospital, and the wonderful crumbling architecture of our adopted home city of Kolkata. You'll find those sketches and watercolours in my album 'Indian Inkings' (and if you would like to read the blog posts that originally accompanied them you'll find them on my tumblr).
