Peer Response Groups
Aim of Peer Response Group
To help leaders and managers to come to terms with the current situation and use peer support to develop ways of thinking, planning, acting and leading in the current situation.
Who is it for?
Any leader or manager in the sector who would like to connect with others to share and gain support, learning and experience of how to navigate this complex situation.
Format
You will join a group of peers through zoom for a series of four interactive webinars of 60 minutes facilitated by an SEA facilitator. We anticipate each group will be around 12 people.
The four sessions will, by the agreement of the group, take place weekly on Zoom. They will focus on different topics including:
- Session 1 – Understanding my own response
- Session 2 - Understanding and leading others
- Session 3 – Leading organisational or community responses
- Session 4 – Collaborating in the sector to respond
We will create a safe space for you to share your own experience and hear from and learn with the others in your group so you can take away practical actions or solutions. The group will very much lead the discussion with the support of the facilitator. The group will agree when to meet, how often as well as the focus.
