​​Members of Stellenbosch University's Convocation have been invited to nominate a member to serve as Vice-President for a term of three years after the previous Vice-President resigned the position.

The term of the newly elected Vice-President will be from 18 October 2022 to 17 October 2025.

Nominations are open for 30 days and will close on Thursday 22 September 2022.  Nominations must be submitted via e-mail to elections@sun.ac.za on or before the closing date.

A member can be nominated for election by one proposer, and four other members must second the nomination. The nomination must be accompanied with a declaration by the nominee that he/she accepts the nomination and will abide by the rules for the election, as well as a CV (optional), and must include a vision statement of no more than 100 words.
