Oiyster is a travel social messaging app for travellers to interact with locals or fellow travellers who are able to understand their language(s). Users may post travel questions in any languages at any parts of the world.

You will receive the most authentic recommendations from the native locals. Discover local hidden gems, untapped places and even new adventures!
Who is it for?
For those who hates overrated and commercialised recommendations. Oiyster app is also suitable for backpackers, low budget or adventurous travellers who enjoy off-the-beaten path travels.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
We are building a travel community who are genuine in helping travellers to explore the world in a local manner; immersing themselves in the culture and discover new adventures.
What’s next?
We are currently in Asia, mainly Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. We hope we can bring this idea to the rest of the world. There will be new exciting features that will help travellers during and prior to their trip, on our Oiyster app soon!
