What is patient data? How do UK universities use this data? Why do they need to use your data? Can data really save lives?
UK universities are using patient data to improve health, that’s why we made this short video. We want to let people know about our research and the impact it’s having. To reassure people that we are doing good work that’s improving care and saving money.
Why? Well, we think it’s important to be open about our work and for people to understand the measures we go to, to protect your data.
We worked with patients and members of the public across the UK to understand the questions that need to be asked.
Please see the animation below and If you’d like to know more about the work we’re doing please visit connectedhealthcities.org or farrinstitute.org.
