Altenew Build-A-Flower: Snapdragon Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Happy May, my friends!
It's time to share another exciting Altenew Build-A-Flower Snapdragon with you.
Welcome to the blog hop. If you arrive from , then you are in the right place. Please check out each blog hop for ideas and inspiration for this Build-a-Flower series.
s
When you first see the stamp set, you may think that it looks complicated.
Well, it really is not.
There are two groups of flowers that are clearly marked on the package.

Altenew-BAF Snapdragon-Virginia#2

Simply by following the instructions, you can easily achieve a great result.
As you can see, I have two stamped Snapdragon in the foreground.
Altenew-BAF Snapdragon-Virginia#3

A tip about lining up the images....
I find it helpful to use the coordinating die cut flower as a guide and then stamp.
This is helpful because of the long stems.
Altenew-BAF Snapdragon-Virginia#1

I stamped the solid floral image with Altenew ink (sprayed with a spritz of water ) to create a watercolor-like background. Also, to add some fine details, I used Altenew Embossing Paste with the Feeling Dotty Stencil. The subtle white does really enhance the overall design.

Altenew-BAF Snapdragon-Virginia#4

I also used the newly Misty Meadow Washi Tape to ground the image!!

This set also comes with a set of inks if interested.

How lovely! The embossing paste really does add to the overall design, and I love how you sort of stamped the background flowers with less detail. So realistic, and just so beautiful.

When I read about this new stampset I thought: Huh,... snapdragon, what is that? Than I seatched for translation and found the dutch word: leeuwebekje. And what so fun is, when you translate it litterally it is: lions beak! Haha. Your card is wonderful! Love the light flowers in the background, so you made a whole "border" of these Beautiful flowers. Veel liefs! Greetings from Leni
