  Abstract: On Tuesday 12 March 2024 (12.30-14.00, Room B4.08), Dr. Johan Poukens, who currently holds a FED-tWIN position at the University of Antwerp and the Belgian State Archives, will be presenting the ARCHIE.BEL (ARCHives for the Economic history of BELgium) project. The ARCHIE.BEL aims to forward financial and business history by cataloging the archives of Belgian stock exchanges and companies and use these archives for research. A Short History of European Law , Tamar Herzog’s new, best-selling, monograph, she brings to life 2,500 years of legal history, tying current norms to the circumstances of their conception.
