The Wales DTP is delighted to announce the appointment of Professor John Harrington as its new Director. 

Professor John Harrington

John is Professor of Global Health Law at the School of Law and Politics, Cardiff University.  Commenting on the appointment, John said, ‘it is a privilege to take up the directorship of the ESRC Wales DTP.  I am very much looking forward to working with our colleagues across the partnership.  Thanks to the hard work of our Pathway leads, the dedication of our support team, and the leadership given by our outgoing Director, Professor David James, we are widely admired for providing excellent support and training for doctoral and post-doctoral researchers in the social sciences’.  David James will work alongside John Harrington over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
