Harnessing new opportunities in the Nigerian Agriculture value chain

Harnessing circular opportunities in the Nigerian agriculture value chain

a WCEF2022 Accelerator Session

8 December 2022 | 11:00 - 13:30 CAT [Hybrid]

The agricultural sector is a priority of the Nigerian government and is an important element in the achievement of the agenda 2030. With less than a decade to go and rapid urbanization, the 2020 pandemic and climate change pose a significant risk to the attainment of this target. The application of circular economy to the sector is a light at the end of the tunnel, providing solution-driven impact.

This 2.5-hours accelerator session will converge, experts, business owners, policymakers, investors, and other relevant stakeholders with interests in circular economy and agriculture to dispel misconceptions and identify opportunities to maximize the potential of the agricultural sector in Nigeria. From cultivation to processing, packaging, and trade, conversations will aim to identify gaps that inhibit coherence between policy and action on the ground and identify opportunities for bankable and scalable solutions that can be replicated in other countries within the region.

This event is an Accelerator Session at the World Circular Economy Forum 2022 (www.WCEF2022.com)

Main Organizer: ACEN Nigeria Chapter
