Be part of a dynamic, fun team in a flexible, virtual role. Our digital marketing manager will play a key role in motivating and growing our network, spreading science-based information, practical suggestions for environment action and updates on our work. You will use your storytelling expertise to create compelling narratives of Another Way’s work, particularly with young people, and empower change.

We’re hiring! The Schools and Partnership Lead will help to build our Power of 10 movement, empowering young people across the UK to take environment action. You will work with schools, youth groups and other charities to grow our community of young people, inspire them to protect our planet and support them to do so. You will be at the forefront of our unique flagship project, helping Another Way to grow nationally and leading the growth of the first ever digital community for young changemakers.

As part of the Big Give, a team of volunteers from Cumbria decided to take on a serious challenge – summit the equivalent height of Mount Everest by climbing Little Mell Fell 65 times!

The Power of 10 film tells the story of how Another Way’s movement grew from the passion of our founder Amy to a community of people taking action for our planet. Prepare to be inspired by Amy’s story and to learn about what you can do to be part of the Power of 10 movement.

On the 23rd February, 200 young people and teachers came together in the biggest climate gathering in Cumbria’s history. 15 charities from across the county and the UK came to talk and showcase their activities, and students participated in talks and workshops. The day was a huge success and we are so grateful to everyone who made it possible!

Another Way will launch its eco-anxiety workshop at Exeter University’s Climate Week at the end of September. Amy and others in the AW team will host the workshop, using resources created as part of Another Way’s eco-anxiety toolkit. Our resources and activities focus on catalysing despair into active hope, through imagining a future and wayfinding your unique role in the climate movement. Look out for the eco-anxiety toolkit, which will be launched on our Power of Ten app later this year.
