Ten Pieces Creative Catalyst
with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and BBC Concert Orchestra
Tuesday 17 March 2020 - Birmingham, 10.30am – 5pm - Venue TBC
Wednesday 18 March 2020 - East London, 10.30am – 5pm - Venue TBC
Are you a KS2 teacher who wants new ideas and inspiration for getting creative with classical music?
This workshop will give you loads of new ideas for creating exciting, child-centred creative responses. Learn how to get the best from your children and how to help them to develop their creative ideas.
The day will be split into two halves. Half of the day will be focused on creating original musical responses. The second half will look at responding to Ten Pieces using spoken word/ poetry and dance. The day will be led by experts and will involve lots of hands on activities giving you the chance to try out and develop new ideas.
This workshop is aimed at teachers who already make music with their children and would like to come away with ideas and inspiration.
The day will include lots of time for tea and biscuits and sharing ideas with other teachers.

Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. If a session is oversubscribed then we will be limiting places to one-spot per school and will give priority to those that have not attended Ten Pieces CPD session before.
Where a closing date is stated; we will get back to you within one week of the deadline to let you know whether your application has been successful.
