FERD GRAPPERHAUS
The 16th edition of the CCR Summit will be chaired by Mr. Ferd Grapperhaus, former Minister of Justice & Security, now Partner at Deloitte and Professor on “Rule of Law and Society” at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Ferd is a partner in Deloitte’s Legal practice. He is both managing partner for Deloitte Legal in the Netherlands from 1 February 2023 as well as consultant in the Government & Public Sector. Ferd has 40 years of experience in the legal profession. He has worked as a partner in the Employment & Benefits practice at Allen & Overy, and for 2 years he was senior partner of Allen & Overy Amsterdam. From 2006-2017 he was independent member of the Social Economic Council, appointed by the Crown. From October 2017 to January 2022, Ferd was Minister of Justice and Security during the government of the Rutte III cabinet. Ferd is also professor at Erasmus University Rotterdam on “Rule of Law and Society”.
