Sieglien operates in various areas of individual and collective employment law and social security law. She assists clients on a daily basis with dismissal cases and represents them in legal proceedings before the labour court.

Sieglien has developed a particular expertise in everything related to absenteeism and the reintegration of (long-term) sick people. She guides clients from A to Z through the various stages of the reintegration process and the special procedure of medical force majeure. In this context, she not only assists clients during these processes, but also advises them on the development and implementation of an absenteeism policy and/or collective reintegration policy. In addition, she also regularly advises clients on questions and discussions related to employee health supervision, progressive work resumption, guaranteed pay, disability monitoring and discrimination on the basis of disability and/or health status.

Finally, Sieglien also focuses more specifically on target group reduction (first hires) and service cheque regulations.

Sieglien often speaks on the above-mentioned matters during seminars and webinars and publishes on a regular basis.

In 2014, Sieglien obtained her Master of Laws degree at the Catholic University of Leuven. She then obtained her LLM in social law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2015. Afterwards, she joined our firm and joined the West Flanders Bar.
