About this event

Health Service Modelling Associates 4: Final Presentation Event

Date: Wednesday 28th September 2022

Time: 9:00-13:30

Online via Zoom

In October 2021, we launched the fourth round of our highly successful Health Service Modelling Associates (HSMA) Programme – HSMA 4. HSMAs receive extensive training in modelling and AI-based methods to undertake a modelling, simulation or data science project that addresses an issue of importance for their organisation and for the first time ever, we opened up applications for the programme nationally – available to anyone working in health, social care or policing anywhere in England. Previous HSMA projects have led to £multi-million investments in mental health and urgent care services, the establishment of brand new modelling and Data Science roles within NHS organisations, and support for the COVID-19 mass vaccination programme.

Please join us as our current cohort present their work at the HSMA 4 Final Presentation Event - a virtual event hosted on Zoom in which 16 of the HSMA 4 project teams will share the work they have been doing and the impact it has had, and offer an opportunity for people from across the country to talk with them to explore sharing the learning from their work, and the tools and models they have developed.

This event will be of interest to anyone working in health, social care or policing organisations, academic staff with an interest in health, social care or policing research, as well as new and prospective HSMA applicants and HSMA alumni. We are able to accommodate a very large number of attendees, and so we would encourage you to spread word of this event amongst your colleagues and organisations.

The itinerary for the event, which contains details of the presentations that will be delivered, can be found here.

To find out more about the programme, please visit our web page.

The event is free to attend, but registration is mandatory in order to receive the Zoom appointment details.  If you have any queries regarding this event, please contact penchord@exeter.ac.uk

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT WILL BE RECORDED. THE RECORDING WILL SUBSEQUENTLY BE MADE AVAILABLE VIA YOUTUBE.
