Join us for the second Project DRAGON-S Outreach Event, where we will consider how to place children’s voices and experiences at the heart of the development of technology-enabled support to keep them safe online. This is a full day event that will be divided into two sessions.
In the morning, a hybrid online/in-person event will share experience and best practice from the DRAGON-S Project. We will offer a space for discussion and debate about the opportunities and challenges of ensuring children’s and lived experience voices drive the development of technology-enabled support to protect and aid the recovery of those exposed to Online Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation. We will hear from leading speakers on lived experience voice and children’s rights and participation.
The afternoon session will be an in-person, interactive workshop designed for child safeguarding leads to co-develop a strategy for piloting and evaluating our anti-grooming interactive training platform (DRAGON-Shield) in Wales / UK and beyond. Participants will be also invited to road-test the DRAGON-Shield prototype.
This is an invitation only event. Please register via Eventbrite by 17th June 2022 to express an interest in attending, indicating whether you are able to cover travel costs if you will be attending in person.

Yn y bore, bydd digwyddiad hybrid ar-lein/wyneb yn wyneb yn cynnig cyfle i rannu profiad ac arfer gorau gan Brosiect DRAGON-S. Byddwn yn cynnig lle er mwyn trafod cyfleoedd a heriau sicrhau bod lleisiau a phrofiadau byw plant wrth wraidd yr ymgyrch i ddatblygu cymorth a alluogir gan dechnoleg i ddiogelu plant rhag Camfanteisio arnynt a’u Cam-drin yn Rhywiol Ar-lein a helpu'r dioddefwyr i wella. Byddwn yn clywed gan siaradwyr blaenllaw ar lais, profiadau byw a hawliau a chyfranogiad plant.
Bydd sesiwn y prynhawn yn sesiwn wyneb yn wyneb ac yn weithdy rhyngweithiol a gynlluniwyd i arweinwyr diogelu plant ddatblygu strategaeth ar y cyd ar gyfer treialu a gwerthuso ein platfform hyfforddiant rhyngweithiol sy'n atal meithrin perthnasoedd amhriodol (DRAGON-Shield) yng Nghymru/y DU a'r tu hwnt. Caiff cyfranogwyr eu gwahodd hefyd i brofi prototeip DRAGON-Shield.
