This event offers students the opportunity to find out more about the variety of pathways into a career in Teaching in Wales (Primary, Secondary and Further Education). You will hear directly from teaching professionals about what a career in teaching has to offer, the rewards and challenges and an insight into future developments within the sector.
There will be practical advice and guidance for students on the application process, important deadlines for applications, the skills and attributes required to enter this exciting profession and how you can develop your skills and improve your prospects further through relevant work experience.
The event will consist of a brief presentation providing an overview of the teaching profession in Wales. Attendees will hear from representatives from various Initial Teacher Education (ITE) providers who will provide information on the opportunities available through their institutions. A panel ‘question and answer session’ will follow, attendees are encouraged to ask questions to the panel in order to gain advice on every aspect of getting into teaching.
Places are limited so early booking is advised.

Bydd ‘sesiwn holi ac ateb’ yn dilyn, anogir y rhai sy’n bresennol i ofyn cwestiynau i’r panel er mwyn cael cyngor ar bob agwedd ar ddechrau gyrfa ym maes addysgu.
