About this event

Executive Briefing: How the Hartree Centre can help social housing

Thursday 9th June, 10.00-3.00pm, at Hartree Centre, Daresbury, Warrington

I am delighted to invite you to the start of something that has the potential to be very special.

You will be aware that we work with the Hartree Centre - a high performance computing, data analytics and artificial intelligence research facility, part of STFC (Science and Technology facilities Council) which is part of UKRI (United Kingdom Research and Innovation).

A number of you joined us at a ’show and tell’ earlier this year and from that we came out with four projects that we would like to explore further with them

  1. How AI can get the best ours come for 10-30 year investment plans - compliance, open source data, net zero, future homes etc
  2. Create the biggest data set of social housing from organisations across the UK, supporting us but also influencing policy
  3. What data for we need to create a digital twin?
  4. Can landlords be a proactive rather than a reactive service, by predicting behaviour of tenants?
  5. We are initially focusing on No. 2 - Creating the data set. Our vision is to create the biggest data set on social housing that will improve the decision making in and around the social housing sector and lead to better outcomes for tenants.

Each organisation would own their own data, with the data classed into HACT data standards and also being classified with the UK UPRN for each asset. Any projects that DIN/ PIN run with the Hartree Centre, you would be invited to participate and if you wanted to be involved, data sharing agreements would be put in place to allow access. Our vision is to have a data set that would facilitate the programmes above, along with opportunities to work with health, utilities (fuel poverty and energy useage), government departments etc etc

We would like to invite you to an Executive/ Director Briefing where we will take you through a high level overview of how we propose to create the data set with a new technology solution, how you can get involved in this and what else you’d like to see this data set used for. We know there will be more opportunity that what I have briefly outlined above.

There will also be an opportunity to have a tour of the Hartree Centre, which I would encourage you to do - it is pretty special.

This initial session is aimed at one/ two people per organisation - Executive/ Director/ Decision maker lead, with an optional SME/ Operational lead. Further sessions will be diarised after this session, which will aimed at SME’s and other relevant leads in your organisation.

This has the potentially to be something very special, make a significant difference and demonstrate considerably better value than we can individually. We really hope you can join us.
