About this event

The aims of this Standing International Conference of Inspectorates (SICI) event are:

  • To promote and support partnership and collaboration between inspectorates, gaining and exchanging information, knowledge and insight
  • To share approaches to supporting children’s and young people’s health and wellbeing during and after the pandemic

There will be a welcome and introduction by Aileen Monaghan, HM Inspector, and Janie McManus, Strategic Director of Scrutiny, followed by three presentations:

Scotland’s focus on the health and wellbeing of children and young people, Frances Graham, HM Inspector, Education Scotland

How two schools are supporting health and wellbeing during the pandemic , Liz Angus, HM Inspector, and Kath Crombie, HM Inspector, Education Scotland and children, young people and staff from Stonelaw High School, Rutherglen and Shortlees Primary School, Kilmarnock

Food in schools in Scotland, Shirley Beattie, Health and Nutrition Inspector, Education Scotland

There will also be an opportunity for questions.
