About this event

If you have signed up to May or July training, you will be receiving an email shortly to advise of the new training in place.

This introductory workshop about adversity and trauma provides an opportunity to learn about:

• What adversity, trauma and ACEs are, and their potential impacts across the life course

• How we can minimise the risks associated with adversity and trauma

• What trauma informed practice is and how this way of working can benefit people who have experienced trauma

This three hour multi-agency workshop is aimed at managers and practitioners in Bristol who work with adults or children, in any sector.

This 3 and a half hour workshop is free of charge and will be held on Zoom. Please click ‘register’ to see the available dates.

Partners across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire are working together to develop a joint approach to adversity and trauma. You can find more information about local work on adversity and trauma here: Welcome to the Keeping Bristol Safe Partnership website. (bristolsafeguarding.org)
